Like many issues that people get all worked up about, I firmly believe that abortion is a very complicated matter, and each situation has its own problems... but since it's so much easier to choose a soudbite ("Pro-Choice!" "Pro-Life!") than it is to think through the ethics on an individual level, we get this freaky polarization in which each side pretends that the other side has no understandable moral stance - and the ones who suffer are the people caught in the middle. :(
