The snow last night was so fluffy and glittery under the street lamps that it looked like the artificial stuff used in shop window displays. Today the air was dry, but we're supposed to get another six inches Saturday night. My car has so much salt on it, it looks half-grey.

Date: 2005-01-21 03:40 am (UTC)It's all green here, with new grass and springy plantstuffs, so that's a plus not to have snow, too. But yeah, the puffy powdery kind like you're getting is what I generally miss most, when I start missing the snow.
(And I thought cars ran on gasoline, oil and water, rather than salt.) };=*> Seriously, it's too bad that's the stuff they have to use to keep the roads safe, it's so bad for the bodies of those expensive peices of machinery we drive.
