*BONK* wooo....

Was completely wiped out Sunday and most of Monday by "acute labyrinthitis," a.k.a. inner ear infection ascribed to viral cause, resulting in vertigo and nausea. Could hardly get out of bed on my own on Sunday. I felt a little like a mole in a cosmic game of Whack-a-Mole, though as far as being Smited by the Mallet of God goes, I suppose I got off very lightly. Was collected by the relatives on Sunday morning and treated to lots of bed rest, Gatorade, and food for which I had little appetite. Saw a doctor on Monday afternoon, whence I got the diagnosis and a bottle of anti-vertigo pills.

Still a bit lightheaded, but feeling much better now; trying to get back on track.
