My computer is working again, sans modem and Ethernet card. The modem is clearly broken, but the Ethernet card is what seems to keep the computer from booting up, which I don't understand at all. It wasn't even plugged into anything. Meanwhile, my family has a new TV. It's a 24-inch Philips, and it will probably come with me when I move out, because my mother really wanted a 27-inch Sony. :) The old TV, which is a 19-inch Sony that's older than me, has gone downstairs near the treadmill, so we can watch while walking. That may make exercise less boring. Sense and Sensibility just didn't cut it.
