Aug. 25th, 2003 03:33 pmBlack cars always look elegant. Some time ago, walking on my way from work to the carpool meeting place, I passed an old-style Beetle convertible. If it had been green or something, it would have looked retro-mellow. But it was black (and shiny clean), and so instead it looked chic.
More park observations: today I saw a large, tan-colored male squirrel. I haven't seen many brown squirrels in this part of the country: I think they tend to be grey here. Certainly all the squirrels in my hometown are grey. The brown one reminded me of Texas. I think the squirrels here have fluffier tails than Texas squirrels. I wonder if it helps with insulation against the cold.
I'm beginning to suspect that itchiness is harder to endure than pain.
I had a couple more things to say, but I've forgotten them now.
Oh yes, about hard-copy journals. I'll just address that topic later.
