back, but not entirely
Aug. 22nd, 2005 07:12 amChris and I spent all yesterday helping my cousin and her husband move (they purchased a house, have been living in a condo until now.) We each had a family celebration the previous weekend, too. Not much happened in between.
At work, something was done to our computers a few weeks ago that means we work more directly off the central servers and not so much off our own personal desktops. Since then, they have also been paring down the bells and whistles from IE, like cookies and Javascript, in what I assume is an effort to tighten security. (I haven't even bothered trying to install programs on my PC, such as Mozilla.) The result is I can't check my email or be logged into LiveJournal. This is one reason why I didn't post last week, the other being that I haven't felt like it when I get home in the evening.
