The lure of the Web is the capability to reference any stray thought (Google, Wikipedia, Behind The Name) as it occurs. Ideas flit through my mind and slip from my grasp unless documented/preserved. Hence attractiveness of blogging; also, a cry into the void. Constant attempts to make connections and defy isolation.
Hoarding memories: years of old emails. Regret/pain at accounts that were cut off unexpectedly. Like piles of paper in the corner of the room, saved but unexamined for years. Compare with logging MUCK conversations.
