What I did on my summer vacation

Spent a week visiting grandparents. Enforced idleness due to grandfather's ill health. Bittersweet: hadn't realized he is that badly off.
Attended wedding of father's cousin. A briefer event than I had expected, but pleasant. Grateful for the opportunity to meet & talk with other cousins whom I hadn't seen since I was a young child.
Back home now. Will probably pay less attention during the next few weeks to LJ & other web pursuits than is my wont. Need to pack.

Edit: apparently tomorrow is daisho's birthday. I hope it's a good one!
