Just over a week left. I'm eager to be there. And the days are
speeding by.

aristeros's mother came over last weekend and almost single-handedly rendered the contents my apartment into a stack of boxes, which are now occupying half my living room. The boxes and furniture are to be loaded onto the moving truck next Wednesday. Meanwhile, I'm basically living out of a suitcase. Seeing my home all boxed up is disheartening. It makes me want to leave already.
Labor Day weekend looks busy. I'm planning to go to the Renaissance Faire tomorrow and meet up with some folks from the RPG club. I have a friend coming to visit tomorrow night, and we're planning to watch "Stardust." Then on Sunday we will probably join some of my co-workers for an outing of some sort -- whitewater rafting was initially proposed, but now certain parties are suggesting changing it to karaoke. Either is fine with me. I've always wanted to go sing karaoke, but I had no one to go with. No specific plans for Monday... probably just hanging out.
The other half of the household has made his way from Point A to Point B this past Tuesday and Wednesday, and yesterday he secured a house for us to live in, so that's exciting. We can't move in yet though, they're still refurbishing the place. His description of the environs sounds scenic. I would have liked to be there with him and explore the area together; but I'll get there soon.
