aristeros and I got to spend together. Previously we'd each been with our own families. He did all the cooking, which included a 4.4 pound turkey breast, stuffing, baked potatoes, cauliflower, and (frozen) corn, plus a store bought pumpkin pie. Everything came out quite well; we've been eating turkey all weekend.
He also got hold of a copy of Civilization IV, and played it for hours at a stretch Thursday. Friday we put it on my computer as well, so we can play cooperatively. What a timesuck -- I think we may have played 8 or 9 hours of Civ on Friday evening. It's been a long time since I got wrapped up in a video game.
It snowed here this morning. We got 2 or 3 inches accumulation on non-paved surfaces, and it hasn't melted yet. Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer. Maybe I can take a camera out to someplace scenic and get a few wintry photos in the morning before it all goes away.
I am thankful that I'm with my guy and can cuddle with him and play games and talk as much as I care to. Being together makes life so much better.
