Print yourself a product

Have you ever imagined being able to purchase or design some item on your computer and produce the item on your printer, right at home? I was surprised to learn that technology like Schlock Mercenary's fabbers already exists, at a cost of less than $2500. Granted, anything this gadget builds has to be squirted out of a nozzle, which basically leaves you the options of constructing your product out of cake frosting or hot glue (silicone really). But it's still a really cool proof of concept.
