My Life Flows On

I am still getting used to it, but honestly, after a year of being legally married but acting like an engaged couple, it's a relief for me to be able to use that word and know that I mean what I say. I don't think he ever equivocated, but I placed a lot of importance on the big, public, religious marriage ceremony, and until it took place, I felt like a bit of a fraud no matter whether I used the term "husband" or "fiance."

Other than semantics, though, life's not much different than before! :)
