December, hello
Dec. 2nd, 2010 08:26 pmI still have things to say, but I seldom feel like taking the time to make an actual blog entry. Facebook, with its built-in mechanisms for sharing links & photos, etc., is more convenient for mentioning random stuff. When I do have time to write a journal entry, updates on the child seem more urgent. They're all about the newest things he does. I haven't even written about my feelings as a parent in a long time — that gets pushed to the back burner, too.
We bought Christmas lights last weekend and
aristeros put them up. Last night we took pictures of the kiddo admiring them, to use on our holiday cards. I don't know if the cards will make it out in time to reach our Jewish recipients before Hanukkah ends, but we'll try. At any rate, Happy Hanukkah, everyone!
I was lured by pretty packaging and engaging descriptions into buying four flavors of Celestial Seasonings holiday teas, even though we already had more than half a dozen varieties of tea (including herbal) in the cupboard. Sugar Plum Spice smells a lot like red hot candies, maybe a little fruitier.
