god of thunder and split level homes
Jan. 24th, 2003 06:59 pmInteresting name of the day: Thor
Unlike the rest, I did not encounter this name in the course of my work. This is the real estate agent's first name on a For Sale sign outside a house in my neighborhood.
I've been pretty good about meeting my goals this week. I've read my A+ book and walked at least 1.5 miles every day. 1.5 miles isn't much -- it takes me half an hour or less -- and that's the beauty of it: it's very doable. I'm glad my parents have a treadmill. There's no way I'd be walking outside in weather like this. Actually, the temperature almost reached 60F on Tuesday, but yesterday morning I was delighted to see a light dusting of snow on the ground. I haven't gotten my walk in this evening, though, been spending the time on LJ instead. The rose userpic is shrunk from a photo I took a few years ago.
Tomorrow night a friend of mine will be in town whom I haven't seen for about two years. He'll be singing in a performance, so I got a ticket, but I hope we'll get a chance to talk too.
