The bank clerks told me it was too late to get my hundred bucks, but offered to send in my form for me anyway, so I let them. Maybe something will come of it.
The chiropractor guy seemed to like me all right, but he talked about how I was overqualified for a receptionist job. I have a sinking feeling he'll turn me down because he's afraid I would leave soon... and he would be right. I stopped at Barnes & Noble to ask about the application I turned in a couple weeks ago, and I got an application from Petco and found out that Ross Dress For Less will be hiring next week. I begin to feel like a loser.
However, I will be taking that certification class, and I will also be volunteering with an ESL program through my church, starting in September. Those should make me feel better. It'll be nice to have something to do that gets me out of the house and talking to people.
