Maybe I should have stayed near my school. Maybe I could have gotten a job with the same place I worked last year. Or maybe I should have spent the summer working for my aunt, like she offered. Instead, here I am browsing the classifieds for receptionist work. The 'Computer/IT' section is just one column + one ad. That's it: 19 ads, of which maybe one is appropriate for me.
Had a fairly nice weekend. Saturday afternoon, we visited our former neighbors next door to the house where we lived eighteen years ago. We hadn't seen them for a few years. And according to my bank statement, the bank credited me a hundred dollars, which was a pleasant surprise. Maybe I'll finally get my security deposit refund from my former apartment today -- they said last Wednesday they were about to put it in the mail.
