Yesterday, January 4
Breakfast: plain oatmeal with raisins.
Lunch: salad with sunflower seeds, creamy parmesan dressing. Turkey sandwich on wheat. Three or four holiday cookies left over from before Christmas. The rest of the bottle of orange juice left from the previous day.
Afternoon snack: three or four more stale holiday cookies. Small slice of Guyanese fruitcake shared by my co-worker.
Supper: rotisserie chicken. Very small salad, plain. Glass of milk. Cup of mint-cookie frozen yogurt.

Maybe I should filter this. Anyone who wants to read about what I eat, speak up.

I'm up for it; it'll remind me to log my own food, and maybe prompt me to eat a bit more healthily. :]

Sure, why not. Might give me a better idea than 'tuna, for the next week'.

It's actually a really good idea. I should be doing a food log for Purrzah, Digi and myself, as they're both diabetic, and I run low bloodsugars a lot because of the focus on their diets.

It would help a lot with finding ways to boost my own sugars, to see what sorts of snacks I see others having, since I don't normally like sweets... or eat between meals, for that matter.

That's a little confusing to me, because a proper diet for diabetics would avoid both too much and too little sugar.

The trouble is with carbs, actually. We try to cut their carbs, but keep my own from getting too low. Typically, I make average portions of each dish, and give them more proteins and fibre, while putting the extra carbs on my plate... but I'm not one who really likes starches and sugars, normally, so my own bloodsugars get really low a lot of the time; while Digi and Purr like to indulge their 'sweet tooth' with even such things as rice, noodles and potatoes, which makes their bloodsugars higher.

And then there are the times Digi goes on a 'toast binge' or the two of them go shopping and come home with bags of mixed candies that they dig into in just a few days. }:=*/
