I have no green clothing in my wardrobe.
No, that's not quite true. I have a teal long sleeve polo shirt, and a dark green tee shirt with a big logo on it from college. However, neither of the above seemed appropriate for work, so I am not wearing green today.
Happy St. Patrick's Day anyway.

Yeah, pretty much, I think. I remember in elementary school, people who didn't wear green were fair targets for being pinched. Cinco de Mayo seems to be catching on, too: Mexican stuff all over. I guess that St. Patrick's Day is more established only because the wave of Irish immigrants was a good hundred years ago or so. I dunno what happened to the holidays of all the other major immigrant groups.

That's what I was wondering. Presumably celebrating by getting drunk just appealed to the American psyche... ;)
