dreary days

serenissimaIt's been a tiresome week. I want to go home and curl up on the couch, with a good novel, some peaceful music on the boom box, and a mug of something warm and sweet within reach. Also, someone warm and sweet within reach. :) And while I'm daydreaming, how about a robot to do my housework for me.
Actually, I've been thinking I should try again to create my own stories. I haven't done any creative writing in ages, and the writing group I lurk in has been very quiet. Wendy has been on my mind today as a promising character: the daughter of a valkyrie and an angel, or at least that's the idea so far. I'm not sure what to do with her, though.
