Jul. 28th, 2003 01:49 pmI happened to be looking at the local movie listings and clicked on reviews for "Seabiscuit." These snippets of user reviews caught my eye:
Here is evidence of the poor writing skills of people in this country. If these people had blogs, their writing alone would be reason enough for me not to read them. Persons #1 and #2 need to brush up on rules for commas, specifically rules about phrases stuck into the middle of clauses. Person #1, if he's going to spell out "computer generated" anyway, should omit "CG." Person #2 needs to review spelling. Person #3 is simply being cheesy and overly dramatic. Fortunately, I haven't noticed anyone on my friends list suffering from these mistakes. :)
I think I'll start a list of things I might like to do someday. The first item on the list is to teach English in China -- this idea is inspired by joudama (
homasse). Also, hanggliding would be cool.
