Instead of walking around the pond on my lunch break yesterday, I walked in the formal garden. There are benches every several yards along the path, in pairs, and some of them have little steel plaques affixed to their backs, with inscriptions. I noticed an especially sweet pair of plaques.

On one side (name purposely mangled):

For Thomas, a place to read
Happy 25th
Ti amo,
Terry B---- M----, and Zach too!
