Can anyone tell me why Google has Alfred Hitchcock in its logo today?

I would assume it's his birthday. You can generally click on the special logos for an explanation, too.

Or even just mousing over them - I did, and saw that today is apparantly his birthday, and said "Oh okay neat" and la. :)
