March: Out like a... ram?

The weather's been rather nice the past few days, not so cold, a fair amount of sun. Seasonally appropriate, still chilly in the shade. I don't think I'd call it lamb-like in its mildness unless it reached the 70s F, and that's several weeks away yet.

I ended up not doing homework last night after all. Instead, I spent the evening with my aunt & uncle and cousins. My married cousins had brought their husbands and children over, and I stayed to chat and play with the kiddos until close to 10 PM. Initially I considered heading over to the D&D game after supper, just to watch the end and meet the other girl who had said she was going -- thus far, everyone I've met in that group has been male. But it had been a few weeks since I had seen my oldest cousin and even longer since I saw her husband, so I decided to stay.

Between work and school, I've been pretty busy all week. I went to work for four hours tonight to finish stuff I was supposed to have finished earlier this week. Still didn't get everything done, but I figure that my boss is less likely to think I was goofing off while she was on vacation when she sees that I put in extra hours.

We had a NASTY storm pass through last night... fortunatly it was a long band of badness that flew over pretty quickly. It came through about 7:30 at night, so it was getting dark anyway, but in the span of about a minute it went from "getting dark" to "unholy black" outside. Fortunatly I only heard about one tornado being spotted, and they didn't say anything about it causing damage. (Around here, it's very possible it went through a farm field or a forested area)
