rise and shine

I woke up this morning at 7 a.m. This after six hours of sleep... but I did take a nap yesterday afternoon, and I got plenty of sleep the previous night. This morning I was dreaming about Luke Skywalker's mother. She wore a white cloak, and her son played with a grey toy car.
I didn't do any schoolwork yesterday. I installed my scanner at long last, nearly a year after Chris gave it to me. I answered email. Can't remember much else. I guess I didn't do much. I've got to study 482 today so I can take the exam tomorrow. I'll have my car washed this weekend and paint over the scratches.
All kinds of grim things in the news. Bush leaving the ABM treaty, an attack on the Indian parliament, a cloned human embryo produced with no intention of letting it grow, a new bill that decreases privacy to aid law enforcement in catching terrorists, Israel and Palestine attacking each other more.... At least the situation in Afghanistan looks hopeful.
This site is not intended to be a replacement for my real, paper and hardcover diary. It's about time I wrote in that again.
