Happy Epiphany

...though Epiphany was actually yesterday.

Materialism has an insidious way of sneaking into my life. My house is full of way too much stuff, because my whole family has packrattish tendencies. I try to keep new acquisitions to a minimum, but clothes shopping is one of my mother's hobbies, and I can't say I mind it all that much myself. Yesterday a catalog for towels, bedsheets, etc. arrived in the mail and I found myself admiring some of the quilts.

I made pancakes for lunch on Sunday. I haven't been meeting my stated goals very well.
