Finished the exam after 3 am, well, as finished as it got, which is mostly. I had a little trouble sliding it under my prof's office door this morning, there were so many there before it. :) Went to Step Ahead. It's interesting to watch different stages of understanding English. Frances did a couple of exercises that involved reading a short passage and answering multiple choice questions about the content, a little like the reading comprehension questions on the SAT. She did fine with those. Then she tried an exercise where she had to fill in blanks in a passage with words from a word bank. This, she had a hard time with. She didn't seem to be understanding the meaning of each sentence and thus couldn't come up with a word to fill in the blank on her own... but she seemed to understand the previous passages, at least sentence by sentence.
I think I'll take a nap now. Plans for this afternoon involve grocery shopping: oatmeal, yogurt, salad, maybe some fish.... Maybe monkeying with my other computer a little... or play FF9, I'm undecided on whether to look for treasure or just finish the game already... I could give my website a long-overdue revision.... hm.
