Christmas "vacation"

aristeros is in town for the holidays, but I've not much time to enjoy his company. We have a lot to do at work, and my boss has decided I can't take a week of vacation -- just a couple of days. One vacation day is to be used Jan. 2 for taking my parents & brother to the airport when they leave (they're arriving tomorrow); aristeros will be leaving in the wee hours of the morning that same day, so he won't be around. I have to decide when to take the other day and how to spend it. I feel under pressure to make sure all our time together is "quality time."

I still have half my Christmas shopping to do. I also have to get my grad school application in, so I can register for class next semester... and I want to find a new job. I also want to spend some time just bumming around, playing a computer game, crocheting, and writing or drawing. I'm afraid I won't be able to do much of that.

I'm very sleepy today. Dunno why; I went to sleep at 10:30 last night. Instead of getting up with my alarm at 6 AM, I snoozed it for half an hour, and was almost late for carpool.

Stress can make you tired, and it sounds like you're under a lot of it. *hugs* I do hope you get quality time with Aristeros, even if you don't get enough quantity of time with him.
