Feeling old

I just took an accounting exam, and the teacher asked us to note down what model of financial calculator we use.

I use a TI-36 Solar scientific calculator that I got for 7th grade.

It occurred to me that I may have classmates who are younger than my calculator.

I sat the pre-tests for the interview I've got tomorrow with a calculator I've had since I was 13, which would make it *cough*23*cough*. So yes, your classmates/age comparison was probably true when it came to some of my fellow applicants as well!

Going to a restaurant and realizing that I'm older than the waitstaff was one milestone. Realizing that the teacher for my economics class, who is a grad student lecturer, could very well be my age was another recent one. At least there are several other "non-traditional" (i.e., over age 23) students in my classes, and besides, I think I look fairly young in my jeans, tee shirt and sneakers.
