There are parakeets loose in this city.

I saw a parakeet several days ago. It flew over me and perched on a telephone wire as I was walking to school. It was lime green with a yellow chest. That was a warm day; the following day had a low of about 40 degrees. I worried a little about that bird, but I've since been told that there are a few feral parakeets around and they survive all right.
I am procrastinating on doing the second half of my first homework assignment. Blah.
