I've been such a slacker today. Yesterday I worked on comp homework for a few hours, but haven't touched it since. Nor the project. Today was our annual church picnic and talent show (a tradition of two years :)), and I MCed the talent show. I got up at 7:30 this morning so I'd have time to take a shower and assemble a "covered dish" for the potluck-style lunch. I mixed three cans of fruit cocktail with a tub of Cool Whip. :p Anyway, the talent show went well; we had three musical-type performances, two poetry recitings, and one man telling funny stories -- he's a professional actor, he's pretty good.
After I got home, I called my cousin for about a half hour, then went to the voice recital of an acquaintance, where I ran into a girl with whom I went to high school who is now a voice grad student. We agreed we should get together some time before graduation. Then I came back and did Not Much. I started addressing my graduation announcements and got somewhat sidetracked reading a couple of etiquette websites, one of which is the electronic version of Emily Post's 1922 etiquette book. I found that I don't have enough graduation announcements, because I didn't count on sending my cousins their own separate from the ones for my aunts and uncles. I hope I can order more quickly.
So, I still have to: send emails to next year's ESL tutors telling them about what we've been doing this year, do my comp project and homework, take care of the phone bill, buy laundry detergent, tell the phone and power companies when to cut off service, fix Chris' laptop and send it to him, and... then I guess it's just packing. And take my final exam.
Hmm. I see that someone messed with my diary. I have deleted that entry, but I guess I'll have to be careful to log out of DiaryLand on school computers.
