I like my car.

My car's name is Ember. It is a pretty, dark red color. It has a nice looking tail light arrangement -- prettier than the previous year's model, prettier IMO than the current model. When I moved into my apartment complex a couple of years ago, I had two unfortunate encounters with the steel posts in the parking garage, and Ember is still missing a small piece of trim on its flank. But since then it has only had minor scratches plus one deliberate act of vandalism. My car now bears a large five-pointed star on its trunk, scratched in and then covered over by touch-up paint.
Ember drives well and has great brakes. It turns its headlights on and off for me so I don't have to worry about draining the battery. It has a quick heater and air conditioner and a nice stereo system. I can turn off the radio without changing the volume. My car has built-in cupholders for both the front and back seats. It has a roomy trunk with hooks for shopping bags.
I have never had trouble with my car, and I hope it lasts another fifteen years.
