Florida, and stuff

I spent a rather boring week in Florida at Chris' grandparents house, with him and them and his younger brother. Boring because we kids did not have a car available to us, so we were stuck in the house. We watched a lot of TV and played a few computer games on his laptop. We did go to the zoo once and the beach once and the movies once, and even without that it was worth it just to spend time with Chris.
The zoo was small but quite nice. They had a wonderful free-flight aviary with a station where you could hand feed parrots if you cared to. Chris liked the alligators; I liked the red wolves. The movie we watched was Minority Report, and it was better than I expected. I thought the ending was neat. I also thought their vision of marketing in the future was a little frightening.
I have two possible job prospects now: one back around school with a tiny software company, and the other very close to home with a cellular service company. The job closer to home would be far more convenient -- moving back to Texas would be a pain -- but most of my friends are back there. On the other hand, here I could live at home, saving myself rent. This presents its own disadvantages: it's cramped here with all my stuff, and I wouldn't be able to have people over to visit. But I think I'd rather work for a large, established company than for a tiny company with only one product, even though one of my friends is already working for the tiny company.
This is all slightly premature, as I haven't even had an interview yet.
