a mishmash of thoughts

It's been a long time since I watched a movie. I have no one to watch with now except my family. :( I did get my security deposit refund: it arrived Tuesday. My last name was misspelled, but I was able to cash it anyway. The leaves in my neighborhood are taking on yellow (maple) and red (dogwood) tinges, but it really doesn't feel like fall -- it's still pretty warm out. One of my teachers thinks there will be more jobs in information security in the near future, and I can see myself staying in that field for several years at least. Chris' birthday is 20 days away and I don't know what I can get him. I wish I had money that didn't come from my parents so I could get him a neato toy like a PS2. :p Or take a trip up to see him.
