After a couple of weeks of modem unhappiness, I am once again on the net from my own desk at home. I reinstalled NetZero, but it turns out I probably didn't have to do that -- there was some sort of "resource conflict" which seems to be resolved now. Yay. Now, if only I could remember why I needed to spend time on the net....
