Still no Internet connection at home. My brother's old computer is on my desk now, but I have yet to transfer my files -- and my modem. It's mostly a matter of blocking out time to mess with the thing, and I'm not looking forward to it. I suppose that may be a bad sign for someone considering looking for computer technician work. The 'puter came with Neverwinter Nights on it, which my brother happily demonstrated for me.   :)   My character has just finished her training at the Academy. I don't want to let a game take over all my free time.

I've had a subscription to Self magazine for over a year now, a Christmas gift from one of my cousins, and this spring I've decided to take part in the Self Challenge in hopes of not getting worn out whenever I exert myself to any significant degree. I've been following the plan for about a week and a half now, taking it kind of easy, and so far so good. I need it after sitting at a desk for nine hours a day.

I've written in my hardbound diary pretty frequently over the last few weeks, often with ideas that I wanted to discuss online too. Maybe I'll get around to posting something about that stuff soon.

You may find that fixing computers is a lot easier to look forward to when you're being paid for it -- and not risking the disappointment of someone you care about if you don't get it done quickly. :)
