I went to see the original "The Manchurian Candidate" last night. It's a very good movie. The showing was part of a local film festival, and there was free popcorn. :) However, I didn't get to bed until almost midnight last night, so I'm not functioning at 100% capacity today... maybe around 70%. I intend to watch the remake soon, hopefully this weekend.

Yesterday, I saw a car with a bumper sticker reading, "Don't let the car fool you, my treasure is in heaven." Despite its being mildly self-righteous, I could see placing this sticker on a jalopy, but it was on a moderately-sized SUV that looked to be no more than five years old. That struck me as rather inappropriate, i.e., "not only am I comfortably off in this life, I'm in good with God, too!"

This is why you need a rocket launcher built into your car ;>

Specifically, those tubes with all the Hellfire missiles. Even SUVs are probably pretty easy to take out. If cars were built with less Mazda and more like Mad Max, and laws were tweaked a bit to compensate, there'd be a lot less traffic.
