Frankenstein's monster
May. 5th, 2003 12:53 pmI saw a good commercial a few days ago. It's for an arthritis painkiller. The ad starts with a black and white clip of Frankenstein's monster stumbling around with his arms held stiffly out in front of him. Then it switches to full color: Franky is relaxing in a comfy chair in a stylish living room. He's watching the black and white clip on his TV. "That was me," Franky tells us, "before I started taking this new drug! I was so stiff, I could hardly move. Now I'm an active member of my community!" And we get to see Franky do things like read a book to a classroom of little kids. Except for his greenish complexion and the bolts sticking out of his neck, he looks just like an ordinary man with a bad haircut. :)
